THE PRODUCERS

Edgar Alcala

Edgar Alcala has over 17 years of experience in television and film production. In 1996 he joined TV Azteca as a Senior Producer where he directed several branding campaigns for Canal 13.

Since 2000, he has collaborated with Televisa and Endemol International where he has gained broad experience in the production and post-production of different reality shows such as Big Brother, Codigo Fama, Operacion Triunfo, Ay Amor and Fear Factor.

In 2004 he moved to Miami where he post-produced Top Ranked PPV Shows.  Since founding Spiral Media with Raquel de Antonio, Edgar has produced more than 200 videos for different companies.

Raquel de Antonio

Raquel de Antonio was born in Madrid, Spain and at an early age moved to Mexico with her family where she completed her professional studies. Raquel has worked as a producer and director since 1997. She got her start in Televisa working in Telehit Music Video Channel producing advertising Promos and the television show El Taller.

Over the last several years Raquel has produced work for broadcasters such as TV Azteca and Televisa.

In 2005 she moved to Miami, Florida where she co-founded Spiral Media, working as a director and producer on many commercials, corporate videos, television shows and documentaries for clients like Current TV with pieces such as Journey to Life, Deathbot Deathmatch, Baby Catching Pro, Earthrace, Cuban Exile, Bioterrorism and A Nature’s Choice, a film that has screened in many international film festivals.

At Spiral Media she currently developed a new format for a reality television show.
